Our History in Ireland
BMS has been manufacturing in Ireland since 1964 and due to continuing company expansion and growth, a new facility was required to support production demands. Construction on the Cruiserath facility commenced in 2000 and was completed in 2003. Manufacturing began in the first half of 2004, following commission and validation, and the facility is one of the company's key suppliers of bulk pharmaceuticals. The bulk products are shipped to BMS finishing plants around the world where they will be used as the key ingredients in the production of tablets and capsules.
